It’s Day Two of my Facebook detox, and I can tell you it still feels absolutely GREAT…!
I’ve probably gained over two hours of my day back, and accomplished so much more in my life already. What a sad and pathetic loser I must have been to gobble up all the dross of my so-called Facebook ‘friends’. I don’t miss not knowing what Billy had for breakfast. I certainly don’t miss all the political bullshit that insecure weaklings keep gossipping about. I have had a day without being exposed to all the Facebook moaning and griping – phew! What a relief.
If you like Facebook, and it’s a positive outlet for you, I say, “Stick with it!” However, if you are feeling like you’ve become addicted to a very negative social media drug that doesn’t actually give you anything positive back, why not consider quitting, too?
I’m really looking forward to the next time somebody asks me to friend them on Facebook, so I can say, “I don’t do that shit!”
Catch you next time…
